Wow! What an event. Full story will follow tommorrow, but can I just say that from most reports we have received back already, that everyone involved had a ball.
We had one of the best 6 hour Mens and Womens solo races in recent times. Dan McConnell, Jason English and Troy Bailey kept the crowd entertained for almost the whole 6 hours. Dan McConnell came out the victor with Jason English second and Troy Bailey finishing out a world class top 3.
In the womens Katherine O'Shea showed why she is "da girl" in the Australian womens MTB scene right now. Peta Mullens and Jessica Douglas made her work very hard for her win, with Katherine showing all the signs of a tough race at the end.
The Torq Nutrition professional UCI team took out the Mens Solo, Womens Solo and the Male pairs with Steele Von Hoff and Luke Fetch taking out the mens pairs.
