After an uncertain opening date, the Forrest Brewery & Cafe quietly opened on the 30th November.  The establishment is run by Forrest locals Matt & Sharon Bradshaw.  The two siblings have created what many say is "exactly what Forrest has been missing".

In the first two weekends of trade, there has been a steady flow of people eager to try out the refreshments and food on offer.  Whilst the brewery isn't exactly "brewing" just yet, they do have a number of local speciality beers on tap and by the stubbie.  Also available is a number of wines from the local area as well as non-alcoholic options.

We all know that cyclists love coffee and The Forrest has ensured they have some fine coffee on offer.

Today we sampled the lunch menu, which had a number of choices on offer.

On your next visit perhaps drop in a say hi.  Also don't forget the the Forrest Country Guest House is still a favorite amoungst regular Forrest visitors.

So we now have two really good food and beverage establishments in Forrest who cater to Mountain Bikers!  Wow, we really are moving up in the world.
