Individual Time Trial Race format + Kids race
Where? Power Lines – using the Forrest 6hr Race Central Hub.
Take the turn off at
When? Friday 29th January. Rego 6pm. Race start at 6:30pm
What? Each rider will be sent off individually and your lap will be timed.
1 lap per rider. Will take from 25-35 mins. Fastest lap wins in each grade.
Approx 10km long.
Kids race will be determined once entries are confirmed. Fun and achievable course.
Cost? Free for FMB&CC members, $10 for non members (+ MTBA day licence of $15)
Free hot dogs after the race. Soft Drinks available for gold coin donation.
Course will be marked out from 5pm should you wish to do a practice lap.
If you can help mark this, be at the race centre at 4:30pm.
Being an individual time trial, you only race yourself. (But catching the person in front is always a bonus too!)
To keep the riding safe and enjoyable for everyone we will set off the faster riders promptly at 6:30pm at 30 second intervals. This will leave slower riders and those less confident to ride the trail without being passed too often by the faster riders as they will be set off towards the end.
This race and course is suitable for beginners through to elite riders, some sections through Marriner’s run may require dismounting if not confident yet.
