Final preparations are just about done... soon we will be welcoming riders from all over to our little town.

With a RECORD NUMBER of entries at 500 participants, the Forrest 6 Hour has become the premier 6 hour MTB race in Australia.

The ever popular New Years Day event returns again in 2013, funnily enough on the 1st of January

Timed decent on the iconic Red Carpet trail Shuttle bus with unlimited trips during the event

Registrations on the day from 12.30 Runs from1pm-5pm from the park at the bottom of Hennigan Crescent, Forrest (bottom of Red Carpet trail)

Cost $40 entry fee (includes unlimited sshuttles)

On the weekend of 24th March, the Forrest MTB & Cycling Club welcomed Nick Bowman from IMBA Australia to our little township in order for Nick to present his Trails Workshop.

With approximately 15 people from the Forrest Club, Warnambool Club and staff from DSE we first hit the classroom to learn a bunch of theory for developing sustainable trails and maintaining them.

Simmo is one of our brightest young talents. We are very lucky to call him a mate and a club member. 
Once again he went to the 2012 Australian MTB championships with the support of the club and his parents.
