Read more...The last Saturday Slog in the series was such a fun day for me personally.

The first race I found myself in the leading group and we all ended up somehow getting lost! "Which way?" "Does anyone know where to go?" What a crack up!
Mental note, must listen to Norm at start of race from now on!

Then Adam Kelsall blew me away on the last lap. Somehow I managed to catch him before the end and we had a ding dong battle all the way to the finish line.

Just a reminder that the next Saturday Slog is on this week.

Location is the 6Hour Event Centre, under the power lines on the corner of

Forrest - Barwon Downs Road and Centre Road

There is plenty of parking available along Centre road, park just off both sides of the road. Those with 4WD's can park at event centre.

Please remember that we will be using all of the trails in this area so keep driveways / paths clear.

Format is a stage race, with some new trails...

Read more...Following on from their highly successful 6Hour Championships, Forrest MTB & Cycling Club had 17 riders compete in the latest round of their Saturday Slog winter series of races.

This event was a 90 minute mini-enduro around a testing 4km circuit of the Red Carpet and Barlidjaru trails at Forrest. The course provided three varying sections, the first a flat winding trail along the banks of the West Barwon river, then onto a twisty technical climb up Barlidjaru, and finally onto the fast...

Wow! What an event.  Full story will follow tommorrow, but can I just say that from most reports we have received back already, that everyone involved had a ball.

We had one of the best 6 hour Mens and Womens solo races in recent times.  Dan McConnell, Jason English and Troy Bailey kept the crowd entertained for almost the whole 6...

Entry numbers in the Forrest 6hour Championship now total over 250.

The Forrest 6hour, run on some of Australias best single track, is set to become a "must do" on the Victorian enduro calendar.

Preparations are ramping up, you will find the race centre layout ideal for competitors and spectators.

Hot food and fresh hot coffee is only part of the story.
