Registration from 5.30p.m. Racing from 6.00p.m.West Barwon Reservoir Car Park, (Turn left, follow signs from main road)

Teams of two for a one hour mini-enduro, racing a fun circuit around the West Barwon Reservoir wall.   Great spectator areas to catch most of the action.

Trail number 3 at Forrest is without doubt the premier trail here. Many argue that it is perhaps the number 1 XC downhill trail in Australia.  The trail has featured as the "Timed Descent" in both Otway Odyssey, and is a favorite amoungst Forrest visitors.

You need to be willing to work for the ride though as there is a 5k climb to get to it.  Forrest local

G'Day All, Welcome to the October 2008 update for the Forrest MTB & Cycling Club.

The first change you will notice is our change of name. As a fully inclusive club, we welcome anyone to come along and join in, regardless if you like to ride single track on a mountian bike, or prefer to stick to the black stuff on a road bike. It was decided at a meeting on the 17th September to incorporate the newly formed Forrest Mountain Bike & Cycling Club.  Formerly under the umbrella of the Forrest Community House, the new club will seek MTBA and Cycling Australia affliliation.

The club will have a goal to promote cycling of all types in the area and most specificallly promote Mountain Biking on the Forrest Trails.

G'Day All, and welcome to the website.
A big thanks to Norm and Jess for the work in putting it together. The Forrest "Out Of Range" MTB club is currently being lead by a small but very enthusiastic group of local riders, through the site we hope to get the message out to all visitors in the area about what the club has to offer.

Currently there is a Sunday Afternoon ride / race on the third Sunday of every month, starting a 4.00p.m. from either Forrest or Yaugher Trailheads -
