After 5 years on the market, the Forrest
General Store is set to have a new owner in August. Rose McAlpin and Jim Fell took over the property 26 years to the day before the sale was finalised on May 1. ‘I woke up and thought, “If it’s going to sell, it’s going to sell today!”’ said Rose.
Interest was sluggish when the store first went to market, but has increased dramatically over the last two years.

Sometimes the Otways can be a very wet area... but other times is can be known to have it's very own weather system.  Now is one of those times.

Over the past few weeks Forrest has pretty much missed the rain that has fallen elsewhere... right now we have perfect conditions for riding our 60+k's of famous Forrest flowing singletrack.

So, with Easter this weekend and a few events coming up, there's no excuse to not come on down here and enjor our special little place.
