It's official... winter for 2013 is over.  

With two weekends in a row now with pouring sunshine, the trail have held up really well and Forrest is OPEN FOR BUSINESS.

So, with winter behind us, what's stopping you from jumping in the car loading up the bikes and heading down.  Our trails are in excellent condition and we are ready for you.

Yes we've had some rain, however our trails handle a bit of rain really well.

Generally the trails are still in awesome condition, so get down here.

Winter in the Otways really is a whole different world.  The local trail crew have done a heap of work over the past few years to make our trails a whole lot more "winter-proof". We love riding here in the winter mainly because the trails are generally so much more grippy.

Final preparations are just about done... soon we will be welcoming riders from all over to our little town.

With a RECORD NUMBER of entries at 500 participants, the Forrest 6 Hour has become the premier 6 hour MTB race in Australia.

We've been swamped over the past few weeks with heaps of people decending upon our little town to train for the 2013 Kona Odyssey.  Those of you who came here and experienced some of the dry conditions we had will be pleased to know that we've had some rain over the past couple of days which has made the trails just so... SWEET!.

The ever popular New Years Day event returns again in 2013, funnily enough on the 1st of January

After a very wet winter, we've had enough good weather and a great deal of trail work, so the trails are in absolutely PRIMO condition.

Don't forget that now on top of the awesome Forrest Brewery, there is also the new "Corner Store Forrest", which is a bike shop and cafe, serving light lunches awesome coffee and bike hire and repairs.

Even if you are only coming down for a day...
