Our final event will be the Red Carpet downhill time trial this Friday night. Meeting at the bottom of Red Carpet Trail, (follow the Lake Elizabeth signs from town) from 6.00pm onwards.

Don’t forget to bring your lights for an opportunity to do a twilight run.

After much planning and procrastinating, the Forrest MTB & Cycling Club has made all the pre-planning to stage the first major event for the club.

The event will take place on Sunday 5th July 2009, and will be offering cash prizes of up to $2000.

If you have never raced, or never raced in a 6hour, this event is for you.

Forrest is becoming famous for it's world class Cross Country MTB trails.  With over 60k of sweet single track, there is no shortage of XC events coming to town.  However admist all this lycra, sweet and gears, is another side to Forrest.  There is a band of younger riders who are some of the best free-ride and downhillers in the region.

Otway Odyssey 2009

Over 1700 people were in Forrest this weekend, to experience the now infamous Otway Odyssey.
The race that concludes in Forrest, has quickly become the toughest one day Mountain bike race in Australia.  This year the course attracted a very stong field, and a new course record was set in both the mens and womens category.
