Forrest MTB and Cycling Club and GMBC have combined efforts to bring you a race on the 30th April.

No, it’s not a 6 hour, no it’s not at the You Yangs, but it may still be a little bit crazy!

The good folk at Forrest have done a power of work in arranging permits at short notice, and GMBC

had everything ready to go for the Crazy 6, so why not combine those powers and host:

What: A 3 hour race, thats right 3 hours!
When: April 30th: 10am – 1pm
Where: Forrest MTB park, site of the Forrest 6 hour
Track: Similar to the 6 hour course, just shortened a little to fit in more laps!
How Much: $30 for the race if MTBA member, add a day licence on top if not.
Entries: Entries open 10am 21st April 2011 at http://www.forrest6hour.com.au/3hour

The nitty gritty.

A course has been devised that takes in many of the trails of the Forrest 6 hour course, but not all of it.

• Entries are STRICTLY limited to 150 riders.
• Riders are able to race solo, or as a pair.
• This race is NOT part of the Goldcross Victorian Enduro Series.

The rider limit will be strictly adhered to, there are no limits on number of solos or teams, purely a total number of riders.

As a pre registered entrant in the Crazy 6, and/or a member of the hosting clubs, you will have access to the online entry portal prior to the event being advertised en masse.

Categories available will be:

Solo: Elite Male, Elite Female, Sport Male, Sport Female

Pairs: Male, Female, Mixed and Junior

Unfortunately due to the logistics of refunds and re entries, entries from the Crazy 6 can not be transferred across and you will need to enter this new event.
